Vivo, among the mobile phone brand names under the umbrella of China's BBK Electronic devices, launched its first collapsible telephone last April when the Vivo X Fold was introduced. The Vivo X Fold+ was launched in September with an updated chipset (the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 changed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1), a somewhat bigger battery, and much faster wired billing rates. Apparently, the company is functioning on the X Fold 2 which could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and feature wired billing at 120W.

A clamshell turn telephone from Oppo stablemate Vivo is "impending" says tipster |
Currently, such as stablemate Oppo has currently done (also under the BBK umbrella), there's discuss Vivo including a clamshell fin to its collapsible line. Oppo launched the collapsible Find N in December 2021 and launched the Find N2 sequel a year later on together with the Find N2 Turn. Twitter tipster SnoopyTech (via AndroidPolice) posted a tweet specifying that the Vivo X Turn will carry a design variety of V2256A. SnoopyTech goes on say that the device has received Google Play accreditation and its revealing could occur quickly.
Since Oppo and Vivo have the same moms and dad company, there's a possibility that the Vivo X Turn could share some specifications and features with the Oppo Find N2 Turn. The last flips available to expose a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2520 resolution (FHD+) and a 120Hz revitalize rate. Oppo's clamshell is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC and consists of 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage space.
The video cam array consists of a 50MP rear-facing primary video cam together with an 8MP ultra-wide video cam and there's a 32MP front-facing video cam for video clip chats and selfies. A 4300mAh battery (which charges at 44W) maintains the lights on. As a contrast, the Galaxy Z Turn 4's battery evaluates in at 3700mAh.
There's no guarantee that Vivo will hotel to copying the specifications and features of the Oppo Find N2 Turn, but it looks like a good time saver. Remember, OnePlus is also a BBK brand name and some Oppo features have appeared on OnePlus handsets throughout the years.
Samsung's Galaxy Z Turn 3 and Galaxy Z Turn 4 were the top-selling foldables in 2021 and 2022 specifically. The clamshells bring a bit fond memories (particularly the Motorola Razr) and that does not want to hang up after an upset telecall by slapping with each other both halves of their clamshell telephone to produce that satisfying knocking sound and feel?
