Nokia unveils Pure UI, a brand-new interface design language

The Nokia Design Group has crafted a brand-new interface design language dubbed Pure UI. This is intended to be used on Nokia phones, of course, but also all kinds of various other Nokia items.

New symbols have been designed for Pure too. They are based upon strokes, the density which can be varied to suit the display requirements and abilities of a provided device. They also consist of smooth computer animations when a particular element needs to capture the user's attention.

The design is intended to correspond, versatile and future-proof and has a tidy, minimalistic appearance, which is the prominent design pattern today. There are several elements, beginning with design themes and standards that determine the overall appearance.

A huge part of the new appearance is the Nokia Pure typeface, which will be used throughout the UI.

The Nokia group has also ready standard aspects that developers can use to quickly develop consistent-looking displays.

Dark setting is sustained, of course, with aspects and symbols changing their designs accordingly.

Up until now Nokia phones have stuck shut to the stock Android appearance, but we should see a press towards adopting Pure UI. There is no mention of how quickly that will occur, however.

Again, this will be used on phones but various other devices too - Nokia Pure UI has effective elements that can be used to develop complex web-based dashboards, for instance. The user interface is designed to range from tiny wrist-worn displays to large wall-mounted panels.
