Samsung develops a huge 17,400 sq feet centerfield display for the New York Mets arena

The 2023 Significant Organization Baseball period starts tomorrow and arenas have been ready new upgrades to wow followers. New York Mets partnered with Samsung to gear up Citi Area with the biggest scoreboard throughout all professional ballparks - it is over 3 times bigger compared to the old one.

You know a screen huges when it is measured in settle feet instead compared to inches. The new centerfield scoreboard has an area of 17,400ft² (1,616m²). There's also an extra 6,900ft² (640m²) display on the back, which is so high and big that it can be seen from the freeway that goes by the park.

The centerfield scoreboard has a 10mm pixel pitch (the range in between pixels) and can show 4K clips such as instant replays and close-ups of the gamers, as well as video game statistics, interactive so on and updates.
