DirecTV users can currently watch Ted Lasso without buying extra equipment. The tv provider announced today that the Apple TV+ application is currently available to install on the company's DirecTV Stream box.

This is the very first time Apple's streaming network is available on DirecTV Stream, a multi-purpose device for customers that supports live TV, streaming applications, on-demand DVR recordings and content. The satellite provider introduced the device in 2020; customers can rent it for $20 monthly, and it is packed with some premium plans. Additionally, it consists of a push-button control with access to Google Aide.

The Apple TV+ application will consist of the iPhone maker's initial content such as Ted Lasso, Severance and CODA, and access to Apple's wider collection of rentals / purchases for tv movie rentals and collection. Furthermore, it consists of in-app support for premium attachments such as AMC+, Paramount+ and Starz. The application is commonly available on various other streaming devices, consisting of PlayStation and Xbox video pc gaming gaming consoles, Roku, Terminate TV, Google TV and wise TVs from Samsung, others and LG.
