Overall, the appearance of the SM-X516B and SM-X616B models on Geekbench is a strong indication that Samsung is preparing to release more tablets in the Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, the company has yet to make any official announcement regarding the release date or pricing of these devices. As always, Samsung fans will have to wait for more information to be revealed by the company before making any purchasing decisions.

Two new Samsung tablets have been spotted on Geekbench, the SM-X516B and the SM-X616B, and they are believed to be part of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE/Lite series. Both devices are powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC and are running the latest Android 13 operating system.

The SM-X516B features 6GB of RAM, while the SM-X616B comes with 8GB of RAM. It is interesting to note that the devices have different benchmark scores, with the SM-X516B scoring higher than the SM-X616B. However, it is important to keep in mind that these are likely pre-production units, so it is best to wait for the retail versions before making any final judgments about their performance.

Aside from the differences in RAM, there is no further information on the specifications and features of these devices. However, it is worth noting that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE/Lite series is expected to be a more affordable alternative to the previously announced Tab S9 and Tab S9 Ultra, which are high-end devices with top-of-the-line features.

Samsung has yet to make any official announcement about the release date or pricing of these devices. However, the appearance of these tablets on Geekbench is a strong indication that Samsung is preparing to release more tablets in the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Fans of Samsung devices will have to wait for more information to be revealed by the company before making any purchasing decisions.

It is unclear whether the recently spotted Samsung tablets on Geekbench are part of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE or Lite series. This is because neither of these designations were used for the Galaxy Tab S8 series released last year, although the Tab S7 had an FE model and the Tab S6 had a Lite variant.

It should be noted that the Galaxy Tab S9 series also includes a Plus version with the model code SM-X716B. However, this version has not yet been spotted on Geekbench. Like the regular and Ultra models, the Galaxy Tab S9+ is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, the same chip that powers Samsung's flagship Galaxy S23 series.

At this point, Samsung has not made any official announcements about the release of the Galaxy Tab S9 series or its different models. As always, Samsung fans will have to wait for more information to be revealed by the company before making any purchasing decisions. It remains to be seen whether the Galaxy Tab S9 series will offer a more affordable alternative to the high-end Tab S9 and Tab S9 Ultra models, or whether it will introduce new features and innovations to the Samsung tablet lineup.
